NS, the Dutch Railways wanted to make their train stations safer and more comfortable. Across the whole length of each platform a LED strip was placed, showing information of the next train in advanced. This way travelers will know in advanced were the need to stand so they can directly board the train, see which part of the train is empty and which compartment is first class. This three month test project at Den Bosch train station was a great success.
