To celebrate its 1,000th anniversary, London’s Borough Market installed ‘The Real Apple Store’, a set-up inspired by tech giant Apple’s iconic stores, that showcased 1,000 different kinds of real apples.
The Borough Market’s usual apple display was transformed into an white-walled ‘Apple’ store that literally stocked real apples, such as “the world’s oldest known apple, Court Pendu Plat” and unique varieties like the “unattractive Knobby Russet”.
