The Slovakian architecture company ‘Design Develop’ came up with something spectacular. They ‘re building homes for the homeless, in between advertising billboards.

The idea called ’ Project Gregory’, is a plan to build triangle homes, by using two existing outdoor billboards next to eachother. The added, unbranded wall would serve as entrance.  It can even be connected to the water supply and electricity net. As you can imagine, the houses won’t be large and will only contain the necessary sections, but Design Develop says that “everything is better as sleeping outside” .

According to the inventors, the costs and maintenance are refunded out of the rent of the advertising space. After a year only, the total cost would be covered.

They’re having test projects in the Slovakian city Banksa Bystrica.
