Construction sites are usually hidden behind covered fences and signs informing about, and apologizing for, loud noices and inconveniences. But the municipality of Upplands Väsby north of Stockholm wanted to do something different when renovating a block of resident buildings.

They were proud of the constructions going on within the muncipality as they were transforming neighbourhoods. They also wanted to give something back to the locals. This is why they teamed up with photographer Erik Johansson to create an inspiring 3D-illusion to cover a major scaffold and give the inhabitants a sneak-peak of the final result.
