Every year, over 3000 people go missing in Santa Catarina in the South of Brazil. To help finding the disappeared they are using a very unconventional tool, the dating app Tinder. Fake profiles of the missing persons were created, and people could read info about them and give tips if they had any information about them. According to the organisation, 23 people were found and returned to their loved ones thanks to this concept.
