Forsman & Bodenfors came up with a digital campaign for Ikea by turning one of Facebook’s basic functions into a promotional tool. They wanted to promote the opening of their new store in Malmö Sweden. With only a small budget, the agency came up with an unusual Facebook campaign.

They used the profile of the store manager, Gordon Gustavsson to upload pictures of the store’s showroom. Everybody was able to tag the pictures with their names. The first one to tag an item won the item. This way the pictures spread to thousands of people via Facebook profiles. Thank you
